I recently dove this wreck. Not much to see. It apears to be a burried hull placed as a seawall. There are two interesting wrecks about one half mile South of this one. There is a steam engine, two boilers, and lots of wreckage. There are two distinct bows showing both ships were moored facing upstream when they sank. I would assume they were left as derelicts and just allowed to sink. One local older wiser diver calles them by the names of the "Baird" and the "Lansing". I have found nothing to substansiate those names, but have no reason to believe he is wrong either. Some poor quality pics can be seen at: http://bluewaternet.net/avalanchediver/bairdlansing.htm
I anyone has any more info on these ships, please let me know.
Thanks,
Eric Pfeifer
