I have a very old journal written in 1901 by Eunice Hodges Pratt. It descibes her grandmother's (Sarah Starks Pepoon) trip from NY to Ohio by ship with her brother, Harvey Starks and her widowed mother, Arabella Sperry Starks. Apparently they were shipwrecked in a storm that drove them across Lake Erie and they wrecked just off Long Point, Canada. The people build a raft and went to shore where they were stranded for 2 weeks until another vessel came and transported them to Ashtabula, Ohio. it is a short but interesting description of their plight if anyone is interested I can post it. this shipwreck happened in 1826-1827. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the ship? Thanks, Laurie
