Note: This list was originally published in the
City of Sheboygan's 1991 "Tidewater Report" and appears here with permission.
It was compiled the the late James Jetzer, a well known diver and marine historian
from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Jetzer was involved in locating a number of Lake Michigan
wrecks and compiled extensive files. After his untimely death, his collection was
indexed and compiled by Pat Labadie of Duluth's Canal Park Museum and is now available to
the public at the Sheboygan Falls Historical Research Center in Sheboygan Falls,
Wisconsin. The collection is quite large and includes files on hundreds of wrecks
from Lakes Michigan, Superior and Huron, with emphasis on Wisconsin's Lake Michigan coast.
