The Fantone is not a Great Lakes wreck and subsequently
is of little interest to most readers of this newsgroup.
However, she disappeared during the recent hurricane
that devastated the Yucatan Peninsula. You can doubtless
find info. on her by doing a search on altavista or some
such search engine.

: It was a wind-jammer vacation sailing ship. 31 souls lost passengers and crew. Does anyone out there know where she sank? Is she yet to be found? What were the conditions surrounding the sinking? Was any trace of anything or anyone found? I am at a total loss about this ship.
