Carrie - I was also looking into the laws of Michigan
regarding wrecks. The DNR referred me to the Michigan
Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) - they have
a website: www.deq.state.mi.us/shipwreck. That site
explains the laws in brief and gives sources for further
information.
