After all the previous flaming of Mr. Ehorn and the American judicial system, maybe it's now finally time to take a deep breath and take stock of what has been happening.
Instead of the combative and antagonistic nature on the part of shipwreck hunters and the brutal heavy-handedness on the part of the government and archeological types, perhaps we should all start a dialogue on how to best accomodate both sides on this issue while working for what's best for the conservation of these resources.
Or we could just continue the bickering, waste the time and money, while the real issue about the resources continue to be ignored.
Personally with my negative attitude of human nature, I guess the latter will probably happen.
