This is a well known and often searched for Milwaukee wreck. To date, she has not been reported as found, despite numerous local divers who are looking for her. The wreck location is well known and is mentioned in numerous subsequent news articles in the Sentinel. Despite people painting the are with sidescan, no sign of her has turned up. Some speculate her remains may have been removed, as she was shallow enough that her spars were well above water. It is, of course, possible that her remains could still be found. Email me directly if you'd like more info. on my research regarding this vessel.

: The Ashtabula was to have sunk off Fox Point in a storm. {see milwaukee Journal Nov. 12 1883 }
: I would like any information about this wreck.
: Has it been found?
: Are divers diving on it?
: What is its exact location?
: and more history if you have it.
