Gary,
If you are trying to find wrecks with a regular fish graph you are probably biting off more than you want.
The problem with the graph is that the band is so narrow that you can not search effectively with enough overlap, using a LORAN or GPS grid, to insure complete coverage.
If you suspect that there is a wreck in a certain location, you will save yourself a lot of time/money by hiring someone with a sidescan who knows how to read it.
Have them sign a confidentiality agreement if you are worried about the discovery becoming public.
If you need to hire someone for this let me know, I can offer you some suggestions; otherwise, consider buying yourself a sidescan unit.
