See if newspapers are available for the port of departure that cover the several days following the disappearance. The local library ought to have them on microfiche. Ship disasters made for great copy and you'd likely have some luck with that approach.
: Seeking information regarding the steamer ship, "Bannockburn" that disappeared in Lake Superior November 22, 1902. Would especially like to know names of crew members. In doing family research, I have discovered a family relative was was on board the Bannockburn. Hoping to receive some replies.
