I would suggest the Straits of Mackinaw due to the tremendous variety of wrecks at various depths. Whitefish is more of a technical divers paradise (without the development), whereas the Straits is like a holy mecca for more recreational divers. Most of the wrecks in the Straits are in less than 140' of water, and a lot of the wrecks are upright and intact. You'll enjoy the Straits.

Also, the best charter up here (by far) is Abyss Dive Charters: http://abyssdivecharters.com/

Good luck,

Mike

: I'm trying to organize a wreck dive trip to the Great Lakes but can't decide on which lake specifically. Flying half way across the country obviously the group will want to see some of the better wrecks which currently I'm thinking will be in Lake Superior. Would the quality of L. Sup. be fair trade for the quantity of L. Erie?

: Any help apprecited
