Just heard about Jeff Voss dive on the ship
some claim to be the Chicora. I understand that
Jeff said the mast was 20 feet aft of the ships
stack. I was just looking at a picture of the
Chicora and would estimate that the aft mast was
a good 55 feet from the stack. I would say the
forward mast was a good 35 feet from the stack.
If what Jeff said is accurate, I don't see how
they could believe that this ship is the Chicora.
Would like to know if mast & stack was secured.
