All,

The chat tonight at 8 PM Central will be on the big steamer Henry B. Smith that vanished between Marquette and Munising in the big storm of 1913. There have been numerous attempts to find her.

Next week Tuesday's chat will be on the Lake Michigan Christmas Tree Fleet, including the Rouse Simmons, owing to the time of year. I will be in Jamaica for that chat and won't participate even if I find a computer with internet service.

There will be no formal chat on the 23rd or 30th, but all are welcome to log on for informal discussion.
