I don't mind driving to anywhere around the lakes, but I can't justify a 14 hour roundtrip drive for a three hour lecture. I still hope someone else has info for a thorough UW Archaeology workshop like the NAS courses.
Brett I don't know if it's convienent for you but you could check out the Save Ontario Shipwrecks site and click on NAS traing to see when their next course is starting. I took it several years ago and I found it very informative. As a group we document and survey wrecks in our area and it's a great way to meet new friends and fellow divers.
