: Chuck Larson at Ocean Sands Scuba has announced the discovery of a large wreck that he believes to be the Chicora. A sidescan image released by Chuck shows a substantial vessel on the bottom, which Chuck relates is about 200 ft. long and rises about 25 ft. off the bottom. The sidescan leaves little doubt that the target is a wreck. Chuck plans to document the site and I'm looking forward to hearing more about this discovery over the coming year.
