Thanks for the kudos! We appreciate it. Michigan Shipwreck Research Associates is, as you surmised, a group of dedicated volunteers whose only goal is to solve a few mysteries, document what we find, and present the findings in a coherent, informative and entertaining way.

We are hot on the trail of the S. S. Michigan, and will continue to work on the mysteries of the Chicora, Alpena, Andaste, Hennepin and Northwest Airlines flight 2501 as well as the hundreds of other undiscovered shipwrecks - both important and forgotten --in the West Michigan area.

This past weekend we assisted Brendon Baillod in his documentation of the Daisy Day, which was briefly uncovered off the beach in Oceana County. We will continue to make ourselves available to research and document any and all discoveries in the area. Just give is a buzz and we'll be there.

Plus, Shipwreck Quest 2004 will take place in 2004 as we hit the water for a solid week of methodically searching the lake in our area.

For those who are unfamiliar, please visit our web page at www.michiganshipwrecks.org. Thanks!

Director, MSRA
