Yeah, sure it online sales. Has anyone forgot the fact that we are in a economic recession and that the travel industry has taken a dive since September 11th? Face up to the fact that most dive shops survive on the recreational diver who want travels a occasionally or may dive several times a year. Face it SCUBA is an expensive sport to be involved with. When the financial markets and job markets take dives, the industry, which could be considered a luxury item, takes a hit. I would argue the fact that online SCUBA is the death of a local dive shop. If it were true far more retailers, not only SCUBA shops, would be closing up.
