I'm trying to determine the final disposition of the schooner Minnie Corlette, #16632, built 1866 at Pentwater, Michigan. I'd welcome any info. Most sources show her as lost at Chicago in March of 1878, but the 1879 Inland Lloyds shows her still in existence out of Grand Haven and states she was repaired in '78. She is then listed in the 1882 Inland Lloyds out of Muskegon, rated OO. She appears to disappear after this. She is not mentioned in any of the Weather Bureau accident lists in the early 1880s. Perhaps she was scrapped at Muskegon in late 1882 or early 1883. Perhaps someone's come across a news clip on her demise.
