I have a 272 for sale for $6,000 ready for
shipping to you. Value at $17,000 and fits
4 different gray scale recorders, and fits
for lap top recording, when your laptop
has over 20 GIG of space.
Original Klein 520 or EGG-272 used to sell
only to OIL-RIG survey teams, at a market
price from $72,000 to 142,000. The Klein
was sold about a decade ago to the CHINESE
about 15 units/complete sets with a very
large complement of paper at $142,000 each.
My unit is at $6,000 for the first diver.
I have complete BLUE prints for the
ENTIRE KLEIn circuits, for repait purposes,
and noticed that ther circuits between
Klein and EGG are identical. I have myself
manufactured about 80 PZT crystals before
I could realy re-design the fish with
a dual fully focused, 1/2 phase compensated
fish for extremely high resolutuion at
100Khz, then a set at 500 KHZ for a test
run, one test run only. The resolution
may approach 0.4 degree resolution, but
then again, water density claimed the rest,
provided the fish was under the termocline.
Chaw compadre. steve
The fish carries a Borosilicate depth sounder
for avoidance purposed, a second one for
head on colision. It saved the fish on
two occassions.

: Does anyone have an opinion on a older Model 272 with paper readout? Our Wesmar is down, till the stylus drivebelt is repaired, and looking at a another SS at $4k. Is it worth that much? Thanks for input and good hunting next season. Bob
