There is such a book. It is titled "Shipwreck" by David D Swayze. A cover picture and other information can be viewed at the bottom of our Lake Erie Shipwreck web site at "http://www.alcheminc.com". That said, David now provides all of the information contained in his book in an online database. You can reach this by simply clicking on the link to the left titled ONLINE MARINE HISTORY & SHIPWRECK DATABASES and follow the subsequent links to Dave Swayze's site.
