More Shipwrecks,

I am just passing this on as I thought it unusal that this data did not make its way to this list. I have not been involved in this project personally.

An assemblage of shipwrecks, (over fifteen) have been located by sidescan and verified by drop camera in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The sites are all apparently under 270 feet deep (deeepest reported depth most are shallower in tri mix range). These ships were waterfront eyesores and taken out into the bay around 1936. Some of the sites are historically significant, most are of wooden construction. Difficult to describe them as class "A" wreck dives or for that matter worth the dive.

An additional unrealted shipwreck find, apparently a 90 foot tug has been made also in Thunder Bay. The vessel may have been the victim of a fire or boiler explosion. The wreck is in a bone crushing fifteen feet of water with a stunning five foot visibility.

Scott
