As a native of the Keweenaw, I have an extensive collection of William C. Moreland photos, underwater video and newspaper clippings. I have a few pics online at the Keweenaw Underwater Preserve website www.execpc.com/~bbaillod/kindex.html

Michigan Tech University in Houghton, MI also has an excellent collection of Moreland wreck pics, as does the HCGL at Bowling Green State University at Perrysburg, OH. I believe about 10 photos exist of the Moreland both on the reef, under tow and in service. Many more exist of her as the Dawson, Hutchinsons and Parkdale. The Dowling Collection, referenced in the previous email has the most photos. HCGL has a massive file of news clippings.

: I am looking for pictures and information on the William C. Moreland as a ship and and as the wreck of the Moreland. I have dove the Moreland wreck site. It is a great site even though it is only chrushed flatened peices of metal, that no longer represents a onece proud ore carrier. Any info and pics would be greatly appreciated. If you could please let me know what site you got the info and pics on. I have looked at a bunch of differents sites that have brought me to noting of what I want on the Moreland so like I said any info and pics would be great appreicated. Oh hear us when we cry to thee for those in peril on the sea.
