One thing you might do is check out San Diego Oceans Foundation (www.sdoceans.org) and their "Project Yukon" (click on that link). Sponsored by Dick Long of drysuit manufacturer DUI, it not only has sunk a ship, but is proposing others to sink scrapped Naval ships. Dick lectures on this and it is an intriguing idea.
