That's right. The reading is in decimal minutes, not minutes.

: You give the location as LAT/LON 42.13'41" / 87.43'89".

: Please note that there are 60 minutes and 60 seconds, so the value of 89 seconds makes no sense. You probably meant 87 degrees, 43.89 minutes as is seen on GPS devices. To get seconds multiply .89 x 60 giving 53.4, so the correct value must be 87 degrees, 43 minutes 53.4 seconds.
