Tim
Thanks for helping clear this up.
Don

: : : : I read recently that the Argus, a victim of the big 1913 storm, had been located and is diveable.
: : : : Is there any published material, or pictures, or drawings available about this wreck? My uncle sailed on her until shortly before the storm.
: : : : Thanks,
: : : : Don

: : : I have a couple pictures of the Argon. No one has found the wreck yet though. The last ship to see it before it was gone was the S.S. Kilypso then it diappeared. The captain of the Kilypso said that he saw the Argon listing to the port and then disappear into the storm.

: : Okay....now I'm really confused. As I said, I'd heard that the ARGUS (lost in the 1913 storm) was found off Kincardine Ontario.
: : I've since been told on here that it is located, off Grindstone City Michigan....enough said.
: : But now, you're telling me (referring to it as the ARGON) that it has never been located.
: : As I said, I'm really confused now.
: : Anybody want to help straighten this out for me?
: : Don

: It's quite simple these are two different wrecks I have no knowledge of the argon only the Argus and it is located as stated. Good luck on the Argon ????? Tim
