The license offer received and accepted by you the diver is a
consideration contract for a fee paid, irrespective of any
disclaimers whatsoever, is good for future benefits.
(As was your military service benefits, in this case you don't even
have to serve time in the service).
Want of a MENS REA irrelevant, are off-point by a wide variance,
not Tort Law. And, not relevant on the basis of how other similar
people (DIVERS) are being adjudged.
