I don'y quite follow your question. However I assume you are asking if boats carrying escaped slaves crossed lake Erie between Detroit and Buffalo. It would make sense for an escaped slave to go from Detroit to Windsor, but it wouldn't make much sense to go from Detroit to Buffalo! I do know of boats carrying escaped slaves leaving Eastern Lake County for Canada. The Unionville Tavern in what is now Unionville Ohio was a holding point for escaped slaves. From there they would make their way at night to a local dock where they would board a ferry to Canada. I believe some slaves also sailed from ports North of Oberlin.
