: I went to the Regina yesterday with a buddy. We had been on the Regina more than 20 times. The dive was very good. We spent most of our dive penetrating the wreck. The visibility was great and the wreck looked almost untouched... Weird for 1:30 pm on a Sunday. I was surprised to find that safety lines were left all over inside the wreck. We completed our dive and returned to our cottage. When got back to the dock, Some friend asked us if we had heard about the 2 divers that died off of Lexington on Friday. An eerie feeling came over me. The lack of other divers on the Regina that morning made more sense. I felt a little uncomfortable about having enjoyed such a great dive earlier in the day. I researched the internet and found the following tragic story in the Port Huron Times Herald.
