The Delaware was one of the worst accidents in Sheboygan's history and I have a number of contemporary news accounts taken from the Milwaukee Sentinel microfilms detailing the specifics of the accident. She was not a steamer, not a schooner. A brief synopsis of the accident follows from my database:
