Wow, This story is the stuff of nightmares. It was certainly fortunate, for the two divers involved, that there were so many quick thinking and responsible divers in the area to effect a rescue. Hats off to all involved!
I think we all, from time to time, have to examine what we do underwater and balance the risks with proper training and wise choices.
