The airplane that went down off Port Washington was located by side scan sonar during the Linda E. search. I believe it is quite deep and the numbers are not being released by those who imaged it. I don't know much about the accident itself.

: Does anyone have any information or knowledge about a plane that went down off of Port Washington Wi in the 1950's. Supposedly from Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois heading to Upper Michigan. Approx 2 miles north of Port Washington Harbor?
