: On Saturday morning June 24th my brother and I attended the opening of the new Lake Erie Shipwreck Research Center in Vermilion, Ohio.
: It was a nice event beginning at 9:30 am with a brunch served in a big tent on the back lawn followed by a short program regarding lake clarity and that sort of thing.
: We then toured the new center and had a chance to peruse their computer data bases.
: They have thus far gathered all of the available wreck charts and data bases and have entered them in a program which displays the information as clickable icons on a map of the lake.
: Their plan is to eventually include build information, blueprints, histories, photos, and photos of the wrecks as they look today.
: So anyone willing and able to help ought to send links and images to Linda Pansing the staff archaeologist at "research@inlandseas.org".
