On September 15, 1889 the Leo, a steam yacht, went down off Rocky Point in Lake Erie with all hands (9). These men with the cream of the crop in Lorain, Ohio. Two of them were my relatives, my great grandfather (26) and his younger brother (21). I have been trying without much luck to find out anything about this disaster. If anyone has any knowledge about this wreck, I would appreciate it if you could drop me a note. Thank you so much. Oh yes, it is believed that the naptha boiler exploded and then the ship broke up on the rocks. It was the maiden voyage. I'm even trying to determine who may have manufactured the craft, I know it was in Detroit. Thanks again!
