Your first two pictures (Lady Elgin & Augusta) are etchings taken from photos of that time by Samuel Auschuler. I am not sure the Augusta photo still exists, but an excellent etching of it can be obtained from a New York newspaper of that time "Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper." A reprint of an original print of the Elgin can be obtained from the Chicago Historical Society. It costs a few pennies, but it is breathtaking in its detail and the fact that it was taken just hours before the sinking. An better etching of the collision is in Leslie's Newspaper, I believe. But I have never before seen that photo of the Union Guards. CAn you give me any information on where it came from and how I might obtain a copy?
