The "Senator" was a freighter modified to carry automobiles. She was carrying 241 Nash cars from Kenosha when she was rammed and sunk off Manitowoc in Lake Michigan on October 30, 1929 by the freighter "Marquette." I don't know if the wreck has ever been found or if divers can reach it.
