When I was in High School in Alpena,MI I seem to remember a picture and a little bit of information when I took a class on Michigan history about a World War I German Submarine. I believe it was the same Submarine talked about in this newsgroup. There was a picture of it in the Thunderbay River where it was displayed as a spoils of war. Try e-mailing the Jesse Besser museum in Alpena at the link below, they may have some information as to a little bit of the history on this submarine.
