: I'm hoping that someone can help me with a onformation sheet i'm putting together. In august there will be approx. 20 divers converging on tobermory for two weeks of diving .
: I'd like to get as much info as possible so that we can put together some kind of dive plan and ittinerary.
: Any info would be greatly appreciated including campsites and accomadations.

Hello Gord,

I suggest you check out Chris Kohl's book "Dive Ontario!" It has most of the interesting dive sites for Toby in it. It also lists some of the resorts in the area. I will list what info I have;

Check out the following web sites for;

1) info on a few of the dive sites in the area - http://www.interlog.com/~carltonc/toby.html
2) info on wrecks and resorts in the Toby area - http://www.onramp.ca/~adb/ontdive/tobermory.html
3) Big Tub Harbour Resort A combination motel, campground, and diving operation. Located around the other side of Big Tub, past the ferry docks. 519-596-2219.
4) Tobermory Village Campground at 519-596-2689

The Big Tub Resort is the best for Divers, it includes nice motel rooms, resaurtant, Dive Shop, local Charter boats. It is located on right in the north shore of the Big Tub. The food is not bad, and they have a meal plan that you buy as a package with your room.

Hope this helps

Phil
