: : Boat: Jarrod's Wreck
: : Place: Lake Erie, Port Dover, Canada
: : Depth: 17 ft.
: : Said to be an old steam tug
: : Founder: Jarrod Forrest
: : Found while sailing along the shore of Port Dover, Jarrod was sitting on the bow of the boat, when he saw a wreck pass by underneith the boat.

: THIS IS INTERESTING. WHILE DIVING OUT OF PORT DOVER LAST AUGUST, WE DID ONE DIVE JUST OFF THE ENTRANCE TO PORT DOVER FOR A WRECK THAT WAS SPOTTED BY SOME DIVERS EARLIER IN THE YEAR. WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY LUCK, BUT THIS MAY BE THE SAME ONE. FROM THE DESCRIPTION BY THE DIVERS THAT HAD SEEN IT, IT WAS PRETTY WELL BURIED , BUT THEY COULD SEE AN OUTLINE. i'D BE INTERESTED IN FOLLOWING UP ON THIS AND PASSING ON INFO TO SOME DIVERS IN PORT DIVER JUST TO SEE IF THIS IS THE SAME ONE THEY HAD SPOTTED.
: rEGARDS,

If you have a number I will cross check it against my list to see if it is a new find or not.

Good work!

Scott
