Dont forget the Russian guy from Erie PA.
He too got over 20 Dead-Eyes, one Block,
and some brass fittings. Would you believe
he was a sort of a DNR Associate helper for
four years? The charter captain, by the light
house was extremely upset, told us the story.
The local diving club was mumm and would not
risk talking about it. The shop owner refused
to talk upon direct question put to him.
There you have it. The story goes, in one year,
the dead-eyes were gone. He just left behind
the Zebra-muscles for you to look at. Here
everybody knew this, but EVERYBODY remained
silent untill the very last dead-eye.
Here's mud in your eye.

: I don't normally post on this board, although I've been an avid follower for several years. I usually find this forum intelligent and very useful. Derogatory comments like "bull---- of the year award," however, detract from the otherwise respectful dialogue between researchers, divers, etc., and cheapen the board. I would honestly hate to see a repeat of the kind of nonsense that went on here a couple of years ago with that Scott Nap guy from Erie, PA (finally busted for stealing from wrecks, I might add). So please...Be respectful of others and save the flaming for another board. Not everyone shares the same views here, but that's no reason to attack them in a public forum. I'm sure the majority here would agree.

: Happy Holidays everyone, and safe diving in '02.
