: A friend of mine recently told me of a wreck in the chicago area that piqued my interest.
: I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this thing. He said that the entirely wooden "boat"\
: was shaped like a zeppelin, or footfall, and completely sealed off, with a hatch on the top
: and a hatch on the bottom. He said that the construction of the vessel was very unique.

: HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS THING BEFORE? If so, I'd love to know more. Please email
: me at nbushman@bigfoot.com If you have any relavent URLs, I'd love to have them too.

: THANKS A TON!!!

Steve here. The "wooden boat" is not exeactly a sub, but an "ICE" boat relocated to just North and West of Brimley and abandoned there.
At the moment i do not have the Loran-C location, but had two dives on the remaining war "weapon" as the ice was to be. A glorified refrigerator. local divers know were it is.
Steve, 90 E. 212 St Clev. OH.44123, wreck list sent upon request.
