There is an outfit that runs out of Thunderbay Ontario, Gichigumi Divers or something like that,(their number is in the local directory) that actually charters an old Soviet Kilo class diesel sub that makes runs out to the Island, Swear to God! The Sub can hold up to 10 divers and
all their gear (Snorkels required) and runs in all
sorts of weather, since it runs bellow! Upon arrival at a dive site your group can ethier dive
conventionaly or if your group is up for something a little different, you can ask Capt'n Ron Helwig to deposit you on the wreck site via the torpedo tubes as me and my group did! What a gas! He usually only does this with the more advanced crowd, you know, the ones equiped with Scuba Pro gear ect, but if you bring him enough Bradors you never know what you might get him to do!
