Some of us can give you "name" of some of these
well known scrap piles/tootpick piles, but
appreciated LORAN-C location, being the STANDARD
for reference, or at least a GPS.
However, If it is your desire to keep YOUR
beach secret, you may use my 7,000 list locator,
let me know. Example=9960-483345, or 58...., being
a two number locator within 20 feet. Further
research only after name, age, is estimated. The
needed input is the 100 year criteria.

: : I need some opinions here. A friend of mine was in the U.P. this summer. On a secluded beach he found timbers from a wreck, spikes included. He showed me pictures and I concur it is pieces of a wreck. He is thinking of retrieving this wood, for display, in the near future. Some of the pieces are substancial(14'X 2'X 3"). The timber is scattered and no one would miss it. It might be gone next big storm, or be there for years. Is it morally and ethically wrong to retrieve these items? Your views would be greatly appreciated.
