: CAN ANYONE SEND ME ANY INFORMATION THEY HAVE ON THE LADY ELGIN. I AM TRYING TO DO A REPORT AND I CAN'T FIND ENOUGH IN FORMATION ON THE SHIP'S DESIGN, BUOYANCY, AND THE WAVE AND WIND DYNAMICS, AS WELL AS, THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS AT THE TIME OF THE WREAK. THANK YOU.
If you would like to gain more information on the two brave-hearted,courageous, and self-sacrificing heroes of the Lady Elgin disaster, please refer to my articles on Captain Jack Wilson of the Lady Elgin and a college student Edward Spenser who save 17 survivors of the famous "Titanic" style disaster of the Great Lakes. Please refer to http://www.baillod.com/messages/1149.html. I have submitted a total of 13 articles about the two heroes which I prepared as responses to Ron Falconberry's inquiry "Lady Elgin Wreck" on the Shipwreck Research Group. I hope you will find my articles to be fascinating and inspiring. If you saw the 1998 film "Titanic" and you enjoyed watching the ficticious "Jack Dawson" rescue "Rose DeWitt" in the award winning film, I'm sure you'll enjoy reading my articles about the real historical "Jack" of the Lady Elgin, who was none other than Captain Jack Wilson, and his attempts to save the lives at least 100 of his passengers. I personally felt more impressed with Jack Wilson than with the ficticious "Jack Dawson". The heroic efforts of the young captain of the Lady Elgin and student Edward Spenser give us some insightful thoughts on the way to be true "survivors".
