As one of the divers who discovered the New York, I am pleased to hear that I am not alone in wanting something done to deter artifact thefts. We left that block on the New York, and no one else should have the right to remove it. Personally, I do not have a single artifact from any of the wrecks that we've found. Last I heard the three are going to trial in January. They are each charged with two felony counts.
