I was watching the news in Kitchener/Waterloo last night and there was a very short story saying that all three political parties had agreed on a new law protecting shipwrecks in OIntario waters. They said that everyone would require a licence to dive any wreck!! Does anyone know what they are doing? Are we going to have to have a licence for individual wrecks, are they going to be able to totoally ban diving on certain wrecks. Have they allowed any divers or divers group to have a say in this. Is this just another money grab. Sounds scarey when all you want to do is visit wrecks and photograph them. Sounds to me like a multi million dollar industry is about to get shafted with out a chance to have a say in things.
