: : was shaped like a zeppelin, or footfall, and completely sealed off, with a hatch on the top
: : and a hatch on the bottom. He said that the construction of the vessel was very unique.

: : HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS THING BEFORE? If so, I'd love to know more. Please email

: : THANKS A TON!!!

maybe you should investigate simon lake who was inventing submarines of unusual construction in the 19th century .his first submarine was a wooden one and he later invented one with wheels that could roll along the bottom.i think it was called the argonaut.his sub would roll along the bottom with vip's aboard and he would crown the trip by opening the bottom hatch and pulling a lobster from the bottom and have lobster dinner at the bottom.one of his last subs was invented in the 1930's and was designed as a research vessel.it is currently on display at the submarine museum in groton,co.
