stick with books by Frederick Stonehouse. He is the best of all the authors I have at keeping the facts straight and not letting opinion interfere. He tells every side of the story for the shipwrecks listed in his books. I have "Graveyard of the Great Lakes" (Superior) and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Stonehouse. I also have "Haunted Lakes" by him. He is an authority. "Graveyard" is the best book I've found for Lake Superior shipwrecks, listing a vast majority of them.
