Hi Barb,

The Great Lakes Historical Society publishes the Inland Seas Journals. There have been many articles about the G.P. Griffith disaster published in the Inland Seas over the years. A quick search of the archival editions reveals the following issues contain information on the Griffith.

1949 Spring, 1950 Winter, 1951 Winter, 1952 Spring, 1952 Winter, 1955 Summer, 1956 Fall, 1957 Winter, 1960 Fall, 1960 Winter, 1963 Fall, and 1974 Fall.

Inland Seas are generally available in most major librabies and at the Great Lakes Historical Society Museum in Vermillion, Ohio. An archival edition is available on CD-ROM from the museum or at the following web site
