Hello!

I am looking for ANY information anyone can provide regarding the wreck of the S/S Alpena on Lake Michigan near Racine, Wisconsin in 1880. That's about all the info I have. Don't know the type ship, point of departure, or anything else - I'm sorry. I was assigned to research this for a school project, and there is precious little information (read: none) in any local libraries.
