I don't know what show you saw, but I am not familiar with other songs about the Fitz. Since you said you like folk music you should look into the music of Lee Murdock. He also has recorded the song "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" as well as many other excellent songs about shipwrecks and sailing. Umm..... Just some info, HISTORY CHANNEL had a special on the FITZGERALD, but it DID NOT include any bits of the song. The one you speak of is the one shown on DISCOVERY.
