Mr. B.J.Titanic Wynn,
I do not not know much about the Noronic personnaly,
but I did get a firsthand account of the fateful fire.
You see, my great-aunt, Mrs.Regina Pelletier worked
on the Noronic as a young woman. I have just received
an e-mail from her son-in-law saying that she has been
interviewed by the Toronto Sun & Star. If you go to
www.canoe.ca and search on "all canoe" for "Noronic",
you will find an article called "The Doomed Noronic"
(Torontoo Sun, Sept.12,1999. She was interviewed
live last Friday by Avril Benoit on the CBC Radio 1,
and will be interviewed at home by Global TV tomorrow.
She will also be a special guest at the unveiling
of a plaque to comemorate the disaster. If there is
anything specific you are looking for, or would like
to get in touch with her, I might be able to help.
Regards,
Rachel Pelletier
PS: How did you get that name?
